Winds at the time of this fire were sixteen (16) miles per
hour. Wind gusts of twenty-five (25) miles per hour were also present, according to the NLR Times! Conditions for extinguishing a major fire could not be much worse. It is a real tribute to the N.L.R.F.D. that this fire was not allowed to spread to other buildings in the apartment complex. |
