 Special note: The writing and publishing of this book has been something that the author has wanted to accomplish for a number of years. The author began making
photos that are in The First One Hundred Years in 1976. The first concept for this book involved a publication that was to be only photos of the North Little Rock Fire Department, with just a very small amount of explanation. The first title that the author considered was A History In Pictures. The author hopes that you enjoy your
copy or copies of The First One Hundred Years. The book is printed locally and will not be a "letter-perfect" production. The First One Hundred Years will be printed
 in black and white and will be spiral bound. (not hard-bound.) This was all done in an effort to keep the cost of the book as low as was possible.
