N.L.R.F.D. Engine 3 was the lead fire vehicle in the parade.

Ironically, the N.L.R.F.D. Parade Engine had a parade number of "5." Company 5 was the '59 LaFrance's first assignment in NLR.

McAlmont F.D. also sent their Unit 5 to the parade.


MEMS Unit 519 -The first ambulance in the fleet to ever be mounted on a Chevrolet chassis. The entire rest of the ambulance fleet is mounted on Fords. (From Michael Cossey)
