The new Pierce Aerial
just a few minutes after
it arrive on July 2, 2002.

The truck is moved to
the back parking lot
where there is more room.

Engine 6 pulls up to Central.
Their crew takes a look.

NLRFD Firefighters take a
look at all the storage space.
Note the "TRUCK 7A" on
the rear roll up door. To the
left of this door is the opening
where the 5 inch hose can
be laid to a plug.

The examination of the new
vehicle continues.

The "basket" looks like
a popular place to be.

Engine 6 leaves Central. Its
crew is still looking at the
new truck.

Check out the decals on the
front of the basket.

Another view of the truck
moving to the rear parking lot.

NLRFD Fire fighters continue
to check things out.

Another view of the platfrom.
The noozles each can produce
1000 GPM.

This is the most incredible
apparatus to come to NLRFD
in its history!

The Lieutenant from Truck
7A inspects what will be
his new truck.

The "basket" still looks like
a popular place to be as 7A'S
crew looks things over.

Still another view of 7A'S
crew as they look things over
with some help from Fire
fighters from Central.

A future NLRFD Fire Fighter
looks over the new Aerial.

The Captain from Truck 7A
tries to imagine what it will
be like to ride in a brand new
truck, instead of one that is
27 years old.

A PCSO Unit looks over the
Aerial Platform. If the rear
roll up door is opened, one
can see the many ground
ladders, pike poles, etc.

What in the world! Did
NLRFD get a surprise
pumper? Actually, this
pumper was to be delivered
to Little Rock F.D.

The Little Rock pumper
heads across the river.
An interesting story being told is that this L.R. pumper and its sister pumper were solid red at the Pierce Factory. When
LRFD officials came to inspect their pumpers, they saw the NLRFD Aerial and decided that the LRFD pumpers should
have a white top also. Is this true? Well, the design of white and red is almost identical to NLRFD'S. We'll probably never know for sure.
