M.J. Bevans
The M.J. Bevans has just been refurbished. It is named for the late Capt. M.J.Bevans of
the NLRFD. This boat is stationed at Station 4. It will be used primarily for rescues on
the Arkansas River.

 

The photos below were taken on the morning of April 14, 2006 at the Arkansas
River. The process of refurbishing a marine vehicle purchased from U.S.
Government Surplus into a rescue boat for the NLRFD is now complete!
