Welcome to
Apparatus and Stations Of The Little Rock, AR Fire Department

Retired Apparatus/ Old Stations

LRFD Engine 5 - The apparatus is a 1981 Mack Pumper.
This pumper and a "twin" 1981 Mack (Engine 7) were the
first Mack pumpers purchased by the LRFD since 1966.
Five more Mack pumpers were to follow: One pumper in
1982, 1983, and 1984. Two Mack pumpers followed in
1985; however, since Mack had meanwhile left the fire
truck business the two chassis were mounted on Pierce
bodies at the Pierce plant.
